Fred Cooper to Teach on Karma Pakshi, Sunday May 26

Dr. Fred Cooper is returning to the Herman Rednick Center, 40 Lorien Road in the El Rito neighborhood of Questa, on Sunday May, 5, 2019.

He will share with us, in instruction and practice sessions, the Karma Pakshi Practice. This class is open to those who have taken refuge and are committed to doing Ngondro during this lifetime.

This practice is one of the four main Guru Yoga practices of the Karma Kagyu tradition–Marpa, Mila, Gampopa, and Karma Pakshi.  Fred will be teaching the English version from Trungpa. This includes very profound Mahamudra instructions. Fred will share with us Mingyur Rinpoche’s teachings on this practice.

The morning session, from 10 am to noon, will be instruction.
Potluck lunch will follow, from noon to 2 pm.
The afternoon session, from 2 pm to 4 pm, will be practice.

During the lunch break or after the afternoon session there may be time for private interviews. If you are interested, please inquire when you arrive. A sign-up sheet for this will be available at the door.

Suggested donation: $25 for the day. No one turned away for lack of funds.
