Please join us for a special tea and an hour-long teaching by Khenpo Dudjum Dorje Rinpoche. Khenpo will give an introductory teaching on the The Sutra of Great Liberation as well as a lung–reading transmission–of the Dharani. This Sutra is a profound and revered Mahayana text, containing instructions for purifying negative karma, realizing emptiness and achieving enlightenment. It is said that just hearing its name brings immense benefits. Rinpoche generously comes to share this text with us in response to a dream in which he was told to spread its teachings far and wide.

ABOUT DUDJOM DORJE RINPOCHE
Rinpoche was born in 1952 in eastern Tibet, near Mount Pa-ji-ri. With his family he fled to Nepal in 1959. In India after years of manual labor he entered the Indian boarding school for refugees. Khenpo earned his Acharya degree in the entire range of Buddhist studies from the Sanskrit University in Varanasi where he studied for 9 years. After the traditional 3 year, 3 month retreat he received essential transmission from HH the 16th Karmapa, who authorized and enthroned Khenpo and sent him to the West–where he has taught for 32 years. In 2022 Rinpoche took full ordination under HE Tai Situ Rinpoche and spends most of his days in silent retreat. He is currently the Resident Lama at Triratna Meditation Center in Dallas, Tx.
