THIS SUNDAY, MAY 5, flags & Fire Puja! at kmgs stupa

You are invited!

“Morning Fire Puja” or Riwo Sang Chöt, The Mountain of Burnt Offering, is a form of smoke offering made to all the Buddhas, Deities, Dharma Protectors and Dakinis. This powerful puja enables participants to accumulate merit and blessings. It helps purify our bad karma, sicknesses, and obstacles.

It will be our great fortune to be led in the fire puja by these precious teachers:

– Lama Karma Chopal of the Kagyu Guru Mila Sangha

– Khenpo Lobzang Tenzin from the Thrangu VajraVidya Retreat Center in Crestone, and

– The Prajna Fire Lamas from Santa Fe — Lama Karma Yeshe Chödrön and Lama Karma Zopa Jigme

We will begin at 10 am, at the stupa, with hanging prayer flags.

After the puja, there will be a potluck meal at the Herman Rednick Center, # 40 Lorien Rd. Please bring food you would like to share.

The text for recitation will be provided.

There is no charge, and donations are appreciated but not required. Contact coordinator Vicki Duncan if you have any questions or would be available to help set up. vicduncan (at) icloud (dot) com
