Fred Cooper returns to continue teaching on the Paramitas Sun. May 7

Dr. Fred Cooper is returning to offer his teaching again given by Tai Situ Rinpoche from the Ninth Karmapa’s text “Ocean of Definitive Meaning” at the Herman Rednick Center, 40 Lorien Road, Questa NM.

The class is open for those who were not able to attend the first teaching in January when we focussed on calm abiding to work with the Paramitas. Many could not attend the following teaching on Feb. 18, on insight meditation, and of those of us who did, most requested that it be offered again, so here it is!

Fred Cooper, PhD, is a close disciple of H.E. Kenting Tai Situpa.  He has taught for over 20 years at Kagyu Centers in the U.S., is on the external faculty of the Santa Fe Institute, and is the President of KSK Buddhist Center.

Schedule:

First session 10 am to noon. Break for pot luck lunch, noon to 2 pm. Second session 2 to 4 pm.

Suggested donation: $15 per session or $25 for the day.

No one turned away for lack of funds. Please donate if you are able, as Fred can then receive a Center donation in gratitude for his kindness and efforts to come to Questa to teach. There is also the opportunity to make personal donations at the conclusion of each teaching.
